Ask Us A Question?
Commonly asked body piercing questions:
What do I do if my piercing is infected?
Come into our store and have a chat with our piercers. We will be able to provide you with the correct information regarding cleaning or removing your jewellery. We, as usual, will aim to make you feel as comfortable as possible throughout the consultation.
What do I do if I lose a piercing ball?
We sell piercings balls in all sizes, gauges and colours, so you will be able to pick up a replacement in-store and have it fitted to either finger tight or with the tools so you will not lose a ball again.
Can I return my jewellery?
Unfortunately due to contamination, we do not accept any jewellery returns. All sales are final. If you have any quality issues with your jewellery we are open to all feedback and in some cases can replace or fix your jewellery for no cost.
Do I need to make an appointment?
No! We are a fully walk-in studio so you are more than welcome to come in at any point and we can fit you in for a piercing or jewellery changeover!
When can I change my jewellery after a piercing?
We recommend you wait at least 12 weeks before you change your jewellery. If you change or downsize your jewellery too early, your new piercing may become infected or have keloids form and no one wants that! If at any point during your healing you need to remove your jewellery come in-store and we can provide you with retainers to keep your piercing holes open until you want to put them back in your piercing jewellery.
What will happen if I take out my jewellery?
If you remove your jewellery within the first year of it being pierced, the hole/s will close up. Some piercings will close more quickly than others, so keep this in mind if you do not want your piercing to go away!
Why can’t I have complex designs put into my new piercings?
When we pierce you we want you to have the safest piercing possible so we will give you a smaller selection of jewellery to choose from for your initial 12 weeks of healing, after this, you can put in your smaller or more complicated designs. This is because when you are healing you do not want any gems or rough designs to be pulled through or poked into your new piercing as this can cause irritation.
