Body Piercing Age Requirements

Our piercing studio is open to all ages, with most piercings being open to children 13+ or 16+ with parent/legal guardian consent and others being strictly 18+. 

Ear Lobes: 8 months + – if you are under the age of 16 you will need a parent/legal guardian present with consent for filled.

Nose, Naval, Septum, Helix, Conch: 13+ – if you are under the age of 18 you will need a parent/legal guardian present with a consent form filled. 

Inner-Ear, Oral, Surface, Dermal, Bridge: 16+ – if you are under the age of 18 you will need a parent/legal guardian present with a consent form filled.

Nipple, Genital, Cheek: 18+ – This is a strict requirement and will not be negotiable, each person will need to provide photo identification and have a consent form filled. 

PIERCING GUIDE:

Inner-Ear piercings: Tragus, Flat, Snug, Rook, Daith

Oral piercings: Tongue, Snake-eyes, Labret, Medusa, Vertical Labret, Snake Bite/s, Webbing, Smiley. EXCLUDING CHEEK PIERCINGS

All customers coming in for navel piercings will have their anatomy checked to make sure it is safe to pierce as not all navels are suited to be pierced. Ask our friendly staff when you come in the store to check if your navel can be pierced. 

Valid forms of ID

• Drivers license/learners permit
• Proof of age card
• Passport
• Student ID with a photo and date of birth
• Working with Children card

DISCLAIMER: 

Any person/s under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian with them before, during and after receiving a piercing.

Each parent or guardian needs to provide accurate documentation to show they are the parent/legal guardian of the person/s wanting a piercing. Any person claiming to be a parent or legal guardian under false pretences will not be served. Any person claiming to be over 18 with false identification will not be served. Piercings on anyone under the age of 18 without parental consent will not be carried out. Any inappropriate, argumentative or rude behaviour will not be tolerated by staff and you will be asked to leave the premises.
